Give Me A Reason : One Sided Love

This is a new song from Pink featuring Nate Ruess. My friend in college uploaded this on his wall post in facebook. So out of my curiosity since this is Pink's song, I played it.

Once the song is playing, it hit me. Its as if Pink is singing this to me. Through this song, it made me proud of who I become because of the love I felt for the first time in my life.

Though it is a one sided love it help me to move on. Though you are broken inside its not yet the end of your life.

How many times you cried and hurt, be still. Lift your head and be proud of the scars it left in your heart.

Loving someone does not only means being with them physically. There is this kind of love wherein you are the only one loving that person. The kind of love where you learn to be contented watching someone from afar. A kind of love that you cannot say for whatever reasons you may have. As long as the person is happy, you are happy too. If he is sad, you can feel his sadness too.

It may hurt me so deep and may leave a scar but this is a mark that I will never forget. Through this scar, it taught me to love without expecting anything in return. It opened my eyes that I should not be idealistic. It gave me hope to love again and to wait for the right one, in God's own time. Other people may ridicule you about the feelings you may have for someone, but it is you who felt it and you know what you felt is true.

We may cry over our loss but we should be hopeful that there will always be another chance for us. In this experience I learn you should also guard your heart. If someone is really meant for you, he will make it a point to have a place in your life.

I swear when the right one comes I will hold his hand everyday and give thanks to God for giving me the man that is willing to grow old with me. Lastly, the person that I could steal his surname and annoy for the rest of of our lives.
