“Nightmares. Reincarnation, Promise of life ”

“Nightmares. Reincarnation, Promise of life ”
The room was slightly lit up and at the centre of the room a huge cauldron was boiling so hot. At the walls there were plenty of strange looking dolls with pins pierced on it. As I reached for one doll an old lady came. She warned me not to touch anything. As she leaves, curiosity struck my mind. I carefully touched the doll that looked like a ginger bread man. I touched the doll with a firm grasp; the place was turned into dark. The old lady came back and scolded me for not obeying her. When she was about to hit m, a young woman appeared dressed in long black sleeves corset attire and on top of her head was a pointed hut. She’s swaying her head as if warning me not to do it again.

After a while, armed men came in. They were carrying swords and spears, I felt so scared. The young woman stood by my side and she whispered that everything will be alright. Before they were taken away by those armed men, she uttered a canticle that froze me from where I stand. The old lady and the young woman were taken inside the black carriage. The moment they left, I was able to move. It’s as if the spell was broken. But it was too late for me to come after them because they were already gone. I ran as fast as I could but no matter how hard I try they were far from me. Deep within me my heart was telling me that I am alone – an orphan. Though hopelessness almost ate my heart out from believing I could still be with my family. While running I wished I could turn back the hands of time to undo my wrong doings. I wanted to be with my mother again. I blame myself for everything. I called my mother in the wilderness and reaching out for her hand to meet mine. Then the sky turned to gray and great winds came by. I cried even more because my Mom would not be there for me anymore. Suddenly, a lightning hit the ground before my very eyes.
The armed men clothes were like this

My late Grandmother woke me up then asked me “Why are you crying? Did you have a bad dream?” I was unable to explain my crying moments in the wee hours in the morning. Something inside of me was asking “Where am I? Who is this old woman in front of me? What is she talking about?”

By night falls everything seems to be peaceful. The ocean’s waves seem to be asleep. Only the moonlight lit our path as we find refuge inside a huge dark cave. There were three of us, the fat man held the lamp at his left hand to guide our path. On my left side, a tall man with broad shoulders and average physique put his right arm around me. He rubs his arm against mine. The fat man warned as “A man at the hill top!”  As we turned our heads toward the hill, a loud gunshot disturbed the silence of the night. I felt my body weakened and catching my breath. I leaned towards the hill and saw the strange man wearing a coat and hut. He was carrying a rifle. The man beside me exclaimed “Are you alright?” The fat man then replied “Oh my God! She’s bleeding, wait here.” Numbness took over my body, I looked up the sky, I saw how beautiful the moon was. The stars were shining brightly that night. I may not be able to speak but at the back of my mind, I pray that the heavens would have pity on me and give me another chance to live. As I turn to see his face everything went blurry, my heart was slowly beating before everything turns to quiet.

As my alarm clock rang by 5 am, my late Grandma approached me with a worried voice”My dear what happened to you this time?” I’m not paying attention to her inquiries since there were a lot of questions running in my mind.
“How come I know this language? Who are this people? Why am I a child once more? What on Earth is this place? What happened to my tongue, I speak this language? Where is he?”

Decade pass by, as I grew up I tend to forget everything and convince myself that everything happened before were just a dreams. They were not real- just illusion.

One night I saw a ruined dwelling. It’s as if the place was burnt to the ground. A beautiful lady came out from the house. She’s wearing a long white wedding gown with gemstones sewn on it. She stared at me, her eyes conveyed to follow her, so I did. Inside the house, everything was a complete wreck. Then portion by portion, it relives its once majestic appearance. Then she faced me and told me “We are the same, as if I am looking myself in the mirror. I am from the past and you are from the future. Whatever God has joined together there is nothing in this world could ever break that bond. “ At that moment I woke up, I was a bit frightened because she was there at the foot of my bed and staring at me. I could not speak nor move. I closed my eyes then prayed to God to let all these things passed.

My mother woke me up in the wee hours of the morning to get ready for school. During our Theology class, we were talking about the sacrament of marriage in the book of Mathew. In my amazement every word of what the lady in the wedding gown narrated was correct. Every word were written in the holy bible.

I suddenly remember what my high school friend saw in her cards ( we were using the cards to see the past, present and future). According to her readings, every time she shuffles the cards 3 times and read my past, present and future. It only comes into one thing that the past will simply connects the future. When I asked her about it, she told me she's not referring to my childhood past but to my past as in --- more in previous life.

So I did a bit research about it, if reincarnation is fact or fiction. In some religion like Buddhism at Hinduism they believe that it is real. For Catholics/ Christians this thing does not exist. But there were some priests who believe it anyway, since you are unsure where your soul would lead afterwards.

I also read it in the newspaper that article of a female columnist about her views in reincarnation. I kept her two articles about it and from time to time, I'm reading her articles.

No matter how this is connected to my future or not. I entrust everything to God. He alone knows our future right before he breathe us life. If indeed this is my new life, I thank God for it. It only proves that He is a loving Father to us all.

Until then, I could write the climax and the final curtains of my life story.
