From Chinovela to Koreanovela
Way back in my last year in high school Meteor Garden suddenly became a hit maker nationwide. We sang to their songs and patiently watched with utmost enthusiasm its series.
I even voted via text message at MYX so that their music videos would remain in the top spot. Though I could not understand Chinese language, confess I sang their songs and even shouted Ken Zou's name in front of our TV.
The most touching part for me would be when San Cai chased the vehicle of Dao Ming Si but she later on failed. Thus her hardship on that scenario symbolized how much she loved Dao Ming Si, though his mother disapproved of her.
Then Amazing Twins came along. The same thing happened, we became avid fanatic. In the whole time that we were watching the show, we can't help but to laugh, cry, amaze at their Kung Fu techniques and to fall in love with the characters as well.
Aside from that, who could forget "It Started With A Kiss"?
Though there were some scenes that portrays cruelty to women but we love how the story goes. The story portrays the ups and downs of married life. The lessons I gained from watching the show were married couple should understand and accept their partner in whole package. There were no perfect partners, we make it happen. Lastly, express your affection to your respective spouse.
The Taiwanese version of Hana Kimi was far better than the Japanese version.
You will absolutely love it. You may cry, laugh and love the characters as the secret of the story begun to unfold. Each thespians did really gathered all emotions in one show. Ella's character could deceived its viewers and leaving them thinking if her character was a boy or girl.
After the phenomenon break through of Chinovela (Chinese TV Series) here comes Koreanovela (Korean TV Series). Until now I could feel the impact of Korean Invasion here in the country.
The poignant of Winter Sonata left me with complete awe. The story is simple yet full of life reflections. We were asking ourselves how old they were when they made this show. As you can see, the actors and actresses look younger on the first half of the film.
It reflects that in a relationship to succeed you don't need material possession just to be happy.
We cannot help ourselves to love this series. The story evolves on 4 friends vowed to be life greatest supporters. But unexpected thing happened, their married male friend died. As the film goes, the three remaining friends fell for their friend's widow and they were fighting over the paternity test of their late friend's daughter.
Who could forget these amazing boys and one girl? This was the Korean version of Meteor Garden. Since it was a very in demand , ABS-CBN made a recap episodes on Studio 23 and channel 2. The Korean version was much shorter compared to the Taiwanese version but the twist they made exceeds all their counterparts.
Then Jung Il Woo came by into my life. Ahem, since then I have been watching majority of his TV shows and movies. Flower Boy Ramen Shop is funny yet melodrama movie that depicts his real life. Due to his good looks, in real life many women are into him, including myself!
49 Days is a splendid one! The story line is really remarkable, until now I have been watching this show. I cannot simply get over the scenes especially on the part where Yi Soo remembers everything. Then one night, in the narrow alley he followed his girlfriend and while walking he snapped his finger then all light posts lit up.
This is one his TV appearances that made me love him more. Until this very moment I'm still thinking about his portrayal as Prince Yang Myung. I simply love it. While watching the 24 episodes I cannot help but to smile at him every time he is being shown in the said film. I am praying that hopefully in real life I could meet him in person. At the back of my mind, I am hoping to have a Prince Yang Myung by my side.
Each country has their own set of stories to portray. It is up to the viewers to critic and choose the best film for them.
