If Only (Movie Review)

I was in my Junior Year in College when this film hit the theaters. If Only was a poignant masterpiece that taught me many things about life, relationship and sacrifice.

The story evolves between two lovers having an opposite characters. The man was too busy with his work that his relationship with his girlfriend crumbles. He forgot the important dates with his girl to the point that his  girlfriend reminding him about the important events.

He then crosses with the Taxi driver that knew everything about him and his girlfriend. The latter then told him that always cherish the moment you have with your loved ones.

At dinner, they quarreled about their differences and the girl left him. Unexpected tragic struck the lovers that night.

By the following morning, the girl surprised him and he was actually on the shock mode and kept telling it was deja vu.

I remember one time in my dreams I saw some events would take place and then by the following morning every thing came true.

As a result, he avoided all the things happened the day before. He became a change man. He spent the last few hours with his girlfriend. In their last dinner, he presented his girlfriend a bracelet and he explained why he chose those pendants.

Then fate changed its course, at a car crash the boyfriend gave up his life so his girlfriend would live.

Though I am not in a relationship, this movie made me think that being with someone really needs time to invest. Taking them for granted is a big NO............

Being in love with him or her does not guarantee that it will last. If you want to make it eternally, do your part!

There is no second chances once we missed it. There's no time machine that could bring you from the past to change everything.

What the old saying is true "You will never know what you got until you lost it. "
