Work, Graduate Studies ------Stress
Since last year 2012, I began my graduate studies. Everything comes smoothly though there are
times we are bombarded by tons of paper works and pressure from my work But still I survived those days
without a doubt.
But this year 2013, everything seems to be in full blow. The great demands in our job as teachers is
at its peak. The paper works in the graduate school is at large too.
There are nights that my left arm is numb and my eyes seems to be shutting down on their own. One thing though, I am also gaining weight. Whenever stress is roaming around as an supervisor, I am hunting for food.
There are nights that I am not sleeping for 2 days straight, so when I lay down for a minute, I'm feeling my body is hunger for rest.
I cannot slow down since the school gave us an order to finish our Master's (for our batch alone) by 2014. Second, I'm planning to work elsewhere by next year 2014, probably in College or in other countries.
Piece of advice, for those who wants to take their graduate studies, go ahead, its a good idea, it will open your minds to a brighter future and new ideas. You will meet a lot of people. It is easier to have it if you are a full time student than a working student. But there is a catch, you need an experience from your field for your thesis and classroom discussions.
But it is all up to you how you are going to handle the stress and balance your studies from work. Before I forgot, you need a sufficient budget for your graduate studies.
