Inspired By the Less Travelled Road
This 2014 I have embarked again in a new journey which somehow
similar with my previous state. The long waiting days of phone calls from the
various institutions where I formally submitted my qualifications makes me
wonder if my decision is correct. Though my minds may trouble me at times, at
the end of the day it is the decision which I made for myself. Since reading
books written by Bro. Bo Sanchez, Sis.
Rissa Singson-Kawpeng and the quotes derived from the post of the Less
Travelled Road in Facebook.com, I concluded that this 2014 would be the year of
my adventure. Aside from career, may the Lord also bless my personal life. May
this year, the man who would swift me off my feet would finally come along. By
August, I am formally part of the late 20’s age group. As we grow older, our
perspective in life varies. At this point, I hardly care if I will be married
or not, all I care is to have a child of my own. But still sometimes, I wonder
how it feels to have someone on your back and sharing your time and life with.
Addition to that, I am engaging myself in photography,
that’s right. It is my new found hobby. Through photography I could compensate
the skills which I lack at arts (drawing, design painting and so on). Thanks to National Geographic I am able to
share my photos and have this rare chance of joining their photo contest
entitled The Power of Smile. By
means of sharing my photos at National Geographic, I am able to fulfil my
bucket lists.
Though I am still searching for a job, half of me is saying "just relax and have a break". Upon reflecting, my body tells me that for 2 straight years, I have been busy in my graduate studies so this will serve as my vacation.
I firmly believe that no matter what paths we take, what matters is we enjoy, discover and reinvent ourselves in a way we can be the best person.
