A Reply To Why Good Employees Leave
Last year or two years ago, I saw the article in facebook.com entitled "Why Good Employees Leave?"
Since then , I am pondering why employees especially the good ones leave? It is the question which I am trying to look for answers til this day.
I am writing this to answer the given phrase from my personal experiences which lead me in concluding why employees leave.
As for one, even if you are a good employee, always get the job done. In the end if the administrators of the company or institution dislikes you, one cannot detest that.
Even though the salary is good, it is not fair to everyone. In terms of higher salaries, the permanent ones should have the best benefit not the new ones. Though in a probationary period, if the employee meets the standard of a graduate degree holder (M.A. or Ph. D. title). He or she should be given the proper amount of salary. Yearly, only the ones have the highest amount of salaries than us the old ones.
Those who are in the positions should protect their subordinates no matter what. They should be the first in line to defend their teachers. What happened was, the administrators were the last to defend if they found out you had defended yourself from the insults of the clients.
I know the institution would not be around if without those parents who sends their kids at the school. But common, the educators are the ones who serves as the front liners every day. We are the ones who sees those kids from Mondays to Fridays, so before they let their guard down, they should first and foremost ask our opinions!
I am fully aware that my attendance is not doing quite good beginning of last school year due to my acid re-flux. Though my attendance did not turn out to be satisfactory in the records, they should somehow classify the valid and invalid reasons why you are tardy on that day. Even medical records are invalid in their eyes.
Before the officials accuse the employees they should seek the truth behind any incident which takes place within the campus. As an educator, you have done your job, you did not miss a thing. What happened was a student did not adhere to the instructions by the teacher. In the end, they blame it all to the teacher in -charge.
In terms of it, the administrators should examine the age of the student involve and his behavior. The student should also received a sanction, since he did not comply with his teacher's advice. The child is already part in an age-reasoning group/ puberty stage.
Hence, once those in the position decided of what sanction the employee/subordinates has no choice but to accept thy sanction. Maybe it is true after all, one must let go of the other to save another being. There should be a transparent trial in every given situation. The administrators should demonstrate proper decorum in managing once institution with respect regardless of the position.
