Birth Month at Lasema Spa Jjimjilbang

 So it was August once again, so my friend and I decided to stay for a 12 hours (maximum hours of stay) at Lasema Spa Jjimjilbang here in Makati City. So happy that this kind of Korean public bath which you could only watch in Korean dramas and movies was now here in the Philippines. This just amplifies the Kdrama vibes to all Kdrama fanatics out there like me.

I arrived early that night, August 24, 2025 around 7:40pm and took a short video clip of the whole place while waiting for her. I know Maybelle since 2011 and I am so thankful that still up to now we are still friends. 

Upon our check out the following morning 

After an hour I guess, Maybelle finally arrived and together we went upstairs. Upon reaching the second floor, there was the cashier and a couple of hanbok standees. Upon handing out the entrance payment, there were separate main entrance for male and female guests. There were some places which taking videos and pictures were not allowed. If you will stay at Lasema kindly check first at their Facebook the updated prices per packages. The management only accepts cash.

Before the guest could enter the premises, a pink uniform will be given for female guests while grey for male guests. The locker area would be the place to change your outfit, it is up to you if you would like to try out the shower and jacuzzi which requires full body naked (no wearing of any clothing).

From there you could go upstairs and try out the Korean foods which the small canteen offers. If you choose a massage package, you can ask the massage therapy for the time and which therapist do you prefer a male or female. The food bill will be paid once you check out.

For the saunas, you can try the two saunas at the 2nd floor while the rest of the saunas are found at the 3rd floor. At the 2nd floor, there were 3 seats allotted for manicure - pedicure, the payment as well will be billed upon check -out.

You can also try the gym room for free. If you want to try the karaoke you may give it a try but there will be an extra charge and pay it upon check -out. 

If you feel sleepy, there were available sleeping quarters for free, just choose for a vacant space.
