A Movie For Me
Last year this was the movie them of my life!
While waiting for the American film that we were about to watch, this trailer was shown.
My younger siblings blurted out "Ate finally you have a movie that depicts your life! Hehehehe"
At first, I was annoyed but on the second thought I feel grateful at ABS-CBN for producing a film that shows concern to all single ladies.
Angelica Panganiban's character in the movie is the same with me. Like her I also have a polycystic ovaries that may interfere with my child bearing stage.
While watching and analyzing the full coverage of the film, I cannot help myself but to laugh. Her character somewhat reflects all the things happened to me.
Take for example, the scene where her doctor reminds the "tick - tock" of women's body clock. Its as if you have only seconds to live. Second, the people around her keep on telling her that she is about to hit the big day of the calendar.
Such a relief when her Grand Mother told her that "God will give you the right one when He knows that you are ready for the commitment."
With that scene, I suddenly remember our late Grand Mother, she used to tell me that when she was still alive.

As the film comes to its end, I made my own reflection, God may allow certain things happen to us to grind us, to nurture and to make us a better person.
